Asset Demand Metrics

In tight synergy with their established conventional SVoD service, the Content Service Provider would prioritize the distribution of their media assets in highest demand. 

Distribution of these assets would be propagated to the subscribers, leveraging a Multicast distribution method.  A 3 step process for prioritizing Asset Demand is outlined within the Integration pages on this site.

The use of Machine Learning techniques is likely already at the service Content Service Providers.  Still, even a simple viewing history analysis is likely to provide useful results.

The CSPs are quite possibly doing an aggregate form of predictive modeling today, such as to load balance their server and content storage resources. 

This proposal suggests that there are significant gains to be achieved, by giving more granularity to this predictive modeling.  In doing so facilitating the creation of meaningful Asset Demand Metrics. 

With the Increasing Fat Tailed plumping nature of Original Content Assets being produced by the major CSPs, these Asset Demand Metrics can really leverage the cost saving opportunity of Hybrid SVoD.
